Meet Jesus :

The greatest gift anyone can receive is the gift of life. I cannot imagine anyone not wanting to experience life to the fullest, life that makes you love to wake up in the morning. Real life goes beyond the physical. One who is fully alive is open not only to spiritual things but to experiencing resurrection in daily living.

The core issue for experiencing this type of living is a relationship with the living God. He is our creator and knows us intimately. Therefore, He certainly knows how to help us live an abundant life. This life is available to us through his son, Jesus.

It is my great privilege to tell you how know Him. Let me share the way with you.

1. First, God loves us and wants us to know Him. John 3:16-17
2. Our sins have kept us from knowing God. Romans 3:23
3. Eternal life is a free gift. Romans 6:23
4. It is by grace that we are saved, which means that we don’t have to work for or earn it! Ephesians 2:5
5. You can receive this gift today. Romans 10:9-10, 13
6. When you receive Jesus into your life, you become a child of God. John 1:12

The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Right now, if you pray this prayer, you will become a child of God:

“Father, I believe that you love me. I want to know you. Please forgive my sins and make me a new creation. I thank you that Jesus has paid the price for my freedom from sin. I now thank you that I am indeed your child and free to experience real life in all of its fullness.”

If you have prayed this prayer, I would love to hear from you!

Love in Christ,
Lana

"Yes, God, I will go...

...but I don’t want to eat any worms," I said.

Missionary films I had seen always seemed to have scenes of a tribal chief offering the missionaries worms to eat – as a treat. Many years later while preparing for my first missions trip to Africa, I heard the Holy Spirit say, “You don’t have to eat any worms.” What a relief!
